Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring safety during food handling and meal service.
• Support clients with medication administration as prescribed, maintaining detailed care plans and documentation for compliance and safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being while engaging in social activities or recreational pursuits.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
• Follow all protocols related to autism support, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience either working in home health, and or with family members or loved ones
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and medication management
• Familiarity with care plans, HIPAA regulations, and documentation standards for patient privacy and compliance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare professionals or social workers
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks required for caregiving roles.
