From The Heart Home Care – Sumter Office is URGENTLY HIRING a dependable, compassionate, and reliable Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for an elderly client assignment in Sumter, SC.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for elderly individuals, understands the importance of consistent attendance, and is ready to begin working immediately.

THIS CLIENT NEEDS CARE ASAP! We need a caregiver who is serious about working, has reliable transportation, and can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

Schedule

• 6 Days Per Week
• Shift hours vary depending on the client's needs
• Specific days and hours discussed during the interview process
• Consistent weekly client assignment
• IMMEDIATE START NEEDED
• Additional hours may be available when needed

Client Care & Responsibilities

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Toileting and incontinence care as needed
• Meal preparation and cleanup
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship and emotional support
• Mobility and safety assistance
• Assistance with established daily routines
• Encourage independence while maintaining client safety
• Follow the client's individual plan of care
• Complete required visit documentation
• Communicate client concerns to the office

What We're Looking For

• Professional caregiving/PCA experience preferred
• Previous experience providing care to elderly individuals preferred
• DEPENDABILITY AND CONSISTENT ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED
• Caring, compassionate, patient, and professional
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Strong communication skills
• Must have availability for a 6-day weekly care schedule
• Flexibility with varying shift hours
• Able to commit to an agreed-upon client schedule
• Must have your own reliable, insured personal vehicle
• Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services do not qualify
• Must be able to reliably commute to Sumter, SC
• MUST BE A CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
• Ability to pass required background screening
