• Are you at least 18 years old?
• Do you have a valid driver's license, car insurance, reliable car and comfortable driving a client around?
• Are you willing to drive up to 25 miles from your home to care for your client?

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will be responsible for....

• Companionship
• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Medication reminders
• Personal cares (ADL's)
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Transportation
• Some clients may need extra care with Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, Alzheimer's care, stroke, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
