HomeCare Advocacy Network of Des Moines is seeking compassionate, attentive and trustworthy employees who are CNA trained (desired but not mandatory). Qualities of a Caregiver/Care Advocate

- Must be 18 years or older

- High school diploma (preferred)

- Valid driver’s license and liability auto insurance coverage

- Have a professional and friendly attitude

Core Job Duties

- Build rapport with clients, engaging in conversation and providing companionship

- Assist clients with their prescribed care plan

- Assist with non-medical hygiene and personal care needs

- Monitor and report changes in physical and mental health behavior

- Ensure the client’s home is organized and safety measures are in place

- Provide emotional support and encouragement

- Assist with mobility needs

- Provide client with transportation

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
