In Home Caregiver- Lead/ Deadwood and Spearfish

Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. This role involves providing personalized care and support to clients in their own homes within the Lead and Deadwood, SD areas. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client health as directed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the care team regarding client needs and condition.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Lead and Deadwood, SD.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
