In Home Caregiver (On-Call)

This position is to ensure there is always coverage for shifts that have gone unfilled and is crucial to our commitment to providing excellent care services for our clients. This person must be available to pick up shifts with little notice at any time four days a week, Friday thru Monday. As this position is on-call the schedule can vary based on client demands. Outside of your on-call days you would be able to pick up shifts at an hourly rate of $18.

Job responsibilities include

• Respond promptly to on-call requests on designated days, ensuring immediate availability for client needs.
• Provide compassionate care and support to clients per their individual care plan.
• Maintain accurate and detailed field notes and report back to the designated supervisor.
• Attend a 15-minute staff meeting monthly to discuss field notes and pertinent updates.

The right candidate would be extremely reliable, excellent at communication, and have a love for people and caring for them.

The person would be assisting elderly or disabled adults with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility, or in a senior care community. Duties include:

• Conversations, companionship, and mental stimulation
• Medication monitoring and reminders
