Job Overview

We are seeking a male caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to a client in their own home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the client. This role involves working closely with seniors , promoting their independence while respecting their dignity and rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor clients' health status by observing changes in their physical or emotional condition.
• Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to resident rights.
• Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments or social activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light cleaning tasks.
• Foster a positive relationship with clients through effective communication and companionship
• Driving the clients to appointments

Skills

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Experience in senior care or home community care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them effectively.
• Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is an asset.
• Proficient in developing and following care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent patient monitoring skills to identify any changes in health or behavior promptly.
• Compassionate caregiving skills that promote dignity, respect, and independence for clients.
