In Home Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Hourly Caregiver to support a female client in her home. In this role, you will help with daily activities, provide companionship, and promote safety, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene while respecting the client’s dignity.
• Provide medication reminders and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to the office.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with walking, repositioning, and transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques according to the care plan.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and meaningful activities.
• Follow the established care plan and accurately document care provided and observations after each shift.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Respect client privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience, preferably with seniors or adults needing assistance with daily activities.
• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to communicate in English with the client, family, and care team.
• Ability to safely perform the assistance required by the client’s care plan.
• Experience with dementia care and transfer equipment is a plus.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet required background screening and employment requirements.
• Must attend an in-person interview and complete required training.
