In Home Experienced Caregiver (30hrs/week)

Responsibilities

-experience with bed bound clients

-Provide direct support and care to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medication according to prescribed instructions - Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to a nurse or supervisor - Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met - Engage individuals in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being - Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care - Follow established care plans and document any changes or observations

Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations - Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds - Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors or individuals with disabilities - Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus - Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team

-MUST HAVE HOYER LIFT EXPERIENCE

Skills: - Direct support experience - Patient care skills - Working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities - Familiarity with dementia care techniques - Medication administration knowledge
