What you will do

As an AMADA caregiver, you will help clients maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence at home.

Responsibilities may include

• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as authorized.
• Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Preparing meals and assisting with routine meal-related tasks.
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers according to the care plan and your training.
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs.
• Completing accurate care notes and shift documentation.
• Following the client's care plan and agency safety procedures.

Specific responsibilities vary by client assignment and must remain within your training, credentials, and authorization.

What we are looking for

• Previous professional caregiving experience required.
• An active Washington State HCA or CNA credential, or an eligible NAR status where permitted and accepted for the assignment.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Dependability, patience, and a professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care instructions.
• Ability to complete required background screening and onboarding.
• Availability that matches current client needs.

Work location and schedule

Care is provided in clients' homes throughout Seattle, Washington. Available days, hours, and responsibilities vary by assignment.
