Live-in Caregiver

We are looking for some awesome live in caregivers to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. This is a live in position, so you will need to be able to stay in the clients home for 3-4 days at a time, including weekends (longer if schedule allows).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with transfers from bed to wheelchair and vice versa
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks as needed. This includes bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene, bathroom assistance, shaving, dressing, and hair care.
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Med reminders and meal prep

Requirements

• Able to physically transfer clients
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Ability to use clock in and out system and problem solve as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
