Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced live-in caregiver to provide full-time support for an elderly woman living with Parkinson’s Disease. This role is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare who is patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting with both personal care and household responsibilities. The position is long-term with no defined end date.

Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide support with transfers, positioning, and safe movement
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Administer and monitor medications to ensure they are taken on schedule
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and general cleaning
• Monitor condition and respond appropriately to fluctuations in mobility and independence
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain awareness of the patient’s condition using in-home monitoring systems when briefly away

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in caregiving, nursing, or healthcare (geriatrics experience strongly preferred)
• Nursing degree or formal healthcare training preferred but not required
• Experience working with Parkinson’s Disease or similar conditions is highly desirable
• Ability to assist safely with lifting, transfers, and mobility support
