is a beautiful family-owned residential care home in Newport News, Virginia, providing personalized care in a comfortable home setting. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Live-In CNA who is passionate about caring for seniors and helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

Unlike large nursing facilities, you'll care for a small number of residents, allowing you to build meaningful relationships while providing high-quality, individualized care.

This is a live-in position that includes a private furnished bedroom, utilities, Wi-Fi, and meals while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Accompany residents to appointments or community outings when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
• Document daily care and communicate effectively with management

Requirements

• Current Virginia CNA certification
• Experience caring for seniors or individuals with dementia preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to reside on-site as part of this live-in position.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be available for overnight on-call responsibilities as part of the live-in arrangement.
• This position requires a long-term commitment and consistent attendance
