At Evergreen HomeCare, we help people stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most: their home. We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable live-in caregiver to provide consistent, around-the-clock support to a client in their home.

How the Schedule Works

• You work one-week shifts, living in the client’s home for the full week.
• After each week on, you have one full week off.
• During your week on, you help your client with care as needed, including through the night.
• You’ll share the role with a second live-in caregiver who covers the alternate weeks, so your client always has consistent care.

What You’ll Do

• Help your client with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide medication reminders
• Plan and prepare meals and help with eating
• Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and changing linens
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Be available to assist with care through the night as needed
• Keep our office informed of any changes in your client’s condition

What We’re Looking For

• A caring heart and a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to live in the client’s home for one-week shifts
• Reliability and commitment: your client and their family will count on you
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Caregiving experience strongly preferred
