Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Live-In Caregiver to support an adult

with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will provide overnight care, ensure

the home remains safe and organized, and help keep the individual engaged in

meaningful daily activities. This position includes a private bedroom within the

apartment. Rent and utilities are fully covered. The home must remain tree-nut and

peanut-free due to severe allergies.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to

 Maintain clear communication for staff members

 Oversea and maintain a clean, safe and organized home environment

 Manage household purchases and supplies

 Cover staff shifts when needed and assist with staffing coordination

 Provide accurate data reporting and attend monthly support meetings

 Provide companionship and positive daily interactions

 Prepare and administer medications

 Assist with daily living tasks including toileting, dressing, and grooming

 Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary

 Provide overnight monitoring and assist with behavioral support when needed

Requirements

 Experience implementing behavior plans and collecting ABC data

 Knowledge of de-escalation techniques

 Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities (required)

 ABA or RBT experience preferred

 Must remain available for the duration of your shift to provide as assistance

 Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

 Must pass background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting

Schedule

 5 nights a week 8:30pm-8am (flexible days available)

 Live in position

 Additional Per diem hours as needed but not required

Compensation

 Private bedroom with rent and utilities included (unfurnished)

 $25 per hour payroll managed through Acumen Fiscal agent from 12am-6am

 Monthly Stipend $1000 per month for hours 8:30pm-12am and 6am-8am (5

days)
