This is a live-in position, meaning the caregiver will reside in the home during their scheduled work period. Room and board are provided.

Position Summary

The Live-In Caregiver will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of 3-6 adult residents. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, organized, and able to create a warm, welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to residents' dietary needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in conversation and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
• Complete laundry for residents, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
• Keep the home clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Monitor residents and report any changes in their physical or emotional condition.
• Assist with medication reminders or medication administration as permitted by company policy and training.
• Maintain daily documentation and communication logs.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, kindness, patience, and respect.
• Follow all company policies and state regulations.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
