We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Caregiver to provide exceptional personal companionship to individuals with dementia.

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate male caregiver to provide respite care and companionship for a male client with dementia.

• Provide supervision, and companionship
• Support the client's daily routine
• Provide patient and compassionate dementia care
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience required
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience strongly preferred
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Reliable transportation
• Background check required

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to observe patients carefully and monitor vital signs accurately.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Hoyer lift operation or patient transfer techniques are a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support is desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and resident rights guidelines.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfers safely; manual handling skills are essential.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and home & community care standards ensures respectful and confidential service delivery.
