Role Overview

As a Male Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and respectful personal care to clients in the Fayette County and surrounding areas, particularly in Winchester. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the client’s family and care coordinators to ensure that care is delivered effectively and with dignity. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or temporarily, you'll have the flexibility to schedule your hours while positively impacting the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients in their home.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical support as needed.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
• Collaborate with care coordinators and families to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy towards clients.
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing quality care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Bonus If You

• Have certifications in CPR/First Aid.
• Are fluent in additional languages.
• Possess specialized training in elderly care or disability assistance.

Employment Type & Availability

This position is available as Full-Time, Part-Time, Temporary, or Per Diem, with flexible scheduling options.

Location

This position is on-site only at FirstLight Home Care - Lexington, specifically for candidates located in Winchester, Kentucky.
