Memory Care Caregiver (Morning and Afternoon Shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes or in group settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, managing medications, and promoting a comfortable and safe environment for our clients. This role requires a caring and trustworthy individual who is committed to delivering high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as managing medication schedules.
• Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs.
• Engage in group activities and provide social support to clients in group home settings.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including laundry and household tasks.
• Assist with long-term care and support, including assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as needed.
• Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document client care and progress in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Skills

• Experience working in home community care or long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of medication administration and vital sign monitoring.
• Ability to provide senior care and support to individuals with varying needs.
• Comfortable working in group home settings and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with group home care and senior care best practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
