Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and dining spaces using approved cleaning agents and techniques.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and hazard-free.
• Conduct environmental services tasks such as waste disposal, linen management, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces to uphold infection prevention standards.
• Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture, supplies, or equipment to prevent injury while maintaining efficiency.
• Follow strict sanitation procedures aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control practices to promote a safe environment for residents and staff.
