Overnight caregiver for a man with autism

Family in the Roswell area is looking for regular, part time, overnight support for a non-verbal young man with autism and medical issues. This is not a CNA position, but a caregiver and companion role. Experience with people with autism is needed and the ability to follow a behavior plan is required. Must be comfortable being up and active during the overnight shift as the young man does not sleep often. This position will support him by providing supervision, cooking and meal preparation, activities such as reading to him, and bathing and toileting support. Some cleaning such as dishes and laundry for him is needed.

The shift is overnight Friday nights with flexibility between the hours of 530 pm and 630am. Additional day or evening hours on the weekend or potentially some evenings during the week can be offered for the right candidate. Full time hours are not available at this time.
