Part-time Caregiver ($22-$23hr ) #AC5422

Seeking an experienced and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for a fun, energetic 12-year-old girl in SW Portland. Approximately 25 hours a week.

She is enthusiastic, compassionate, loving, affectionate and has a huge personality. She thrives with predictability, continuity and feeling safe. She loves animals, especially her 2 dogs and make-up artistry. She is working on her social and emotional communication skills, self advocacy, independence with her ADL’s, Social awareness/engagement, community integration, safety awareness, gaining confidence and completing daily tasks on her own. She does best with someone who is grounded, compassionate, considerate of others perspectives, flexible and ready to jump into new situations and also someone who is LGBTQ friendly. There is no smoking but they do have dogs.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Approximately 25 hours per week
• Flexible Schedule

Candidate Must have-

• Communication skills requiring patience and understanding
• Ability to provide occasional assistance with daily tasks
