Daughter for Hire is looking for dedicated Care Companions in Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties.

About the Role

As a Care Companion you will provide support and non-medical daily assistance to clients to create a comfortable, safe, and respectful environment. Responsibilities may include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, assistance with daily routines, and helping clients maintain an organized and welcoming living space. This role plays an important part in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and sense of connection while remaining comfortable in their own homes.

Minimum Requirements

• Weekday and weekend hours available
• Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
• Valid Drivers License
• Your own insured vehicle
• Willingness to travel up to 20 miles to your clients home
• Complete a nationwide background check
• Your own reliable cell phone for access to our scheduling app, phone calls, and emails
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds if needed
