Part-Time Caregiver for a Young Person with Autism

Location: Southwest Austin, TX 78739 (Meridian Park)

✅ About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one companion support for a young person with physical and intelegtual disablities . He enjoys reading, playing games, and participating in his community.

✅ Schedule

Monday–Friday

• Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:30/10:00 PM
• Weekend hours available (morning and evening shifts — two caregivers needed)

✅ Location: Southwest Austin, TX 78739 (Meridian Park)

✅ Pay: $21–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygine, and any other assistance.
• Provide companionship through conversation, reading, games, and community engagement.
• Use calm, structured behavioral support techniques during challenging situations (ABA-based approach).
• Occasionally transport the client to medical appointments or community activities (not required daily).
• Communicate regularly with the family regarding the client's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.

✅ Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with Autisam or other developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
• ABA certification or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) experience is strongly preferred.
