Part-Time In-Home Caregiver for Seniors- 20+ hrs/week

*Personal In-Home Caregiver for Senior Citizens*

If you are caring, dependable, responsible and looking for a rewarding job with a flexible schedule tailored for those with children in school, Staying in Place STL may be the place for you. We are currently hiring Caregivers to focus on our growing St Louis County client area.

Specific shifts available today are

• 9:30 AM-5:30 PM daily, Mon-Fri
• Typical 4-6 hours shifts

Responsibilities / Activities include

• Provide companioncare for seniors in their home with daily living activities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, reminding clients of their medical schedules
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping includes changing linens, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms
• Provide transportation to appointments/activities/errands as needed
• Communicate with clients’ families and Staying In Place STL staff regarding client observation, activities and hours of service

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 3 years of recent in-home caregiving experience
• Have a genuine desire to help seniors, have high moral standards of honesty and integrity
• Applicants must be bondable and pass these background checks: criminal background, driving record, and drug testing
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Able to meet positions physical demands. The work requires light physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis to assist clients in activities, ambulation, personal care, transfers and toileting. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds may be required
