Liberty Village of Danville is seeking qualified full-time Personal Assistants/Caregivers. We have an openings for 3rd shift including rotating weekends and holidays. Duties of a Personal Assistants/Caregivers

• Follow and help carry out a resident's written service plan.
• Provide personal care services for residents, including but not limited to bathing, earing, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, ambulation and assistance with transfers.
• Observe the resident's functioning, maintain written records of the observations and report any changes to the licensed nurse.
• Attend initial training, in-service training sessions and staff conferences.
• Attend various in-service training to maintain skills for a minimum of 12 hours per year.
• Complete resident daily checks per policy.
• Report any environmental issues that potentially affect resident's safety to the manager of maintenance staff.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Be CPR certified and able to respond appropriately in an emergency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Personal Assistants/Caregivers skills

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
• High School diploma or GED
