as a Personal Care Aide/Homemaker/Companion and provide crucial support to seniors in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you'll deliver compassionate in-home care, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a comfortable, safe environment for clients.

### Essential Responsibilities:

• Daily Living Support : Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to enhance their independence and comfort.
• Home Care Duties : Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and bed changes, and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Meal Assistance : Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals; handle grocery shopping and kitchen clean-up.
• Medication Reminders : Ensure clients adhere to their medication schedules as outlined in their care plans.
• Observation & Reporting : Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or home conditions to your supervisor.
• Communication : Build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members through effective communication and professional conduct.
• Training & Compliance : Complete all required training, documentation, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

### Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass state-mandated training and background checks (criminal, driving record, references).
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
