Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position with 4-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, based on client scheduling needs.

The current schedule consists of 16 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours in the near future.

Candidates must have weekday availability and be dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule.

##### Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to clients in their homes with professionalism, compassion, and respect.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and agency protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and other health indicators, when required and within the caregiver's authorized responsibilities.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or errands when required by the care plan.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and assistance with daily routines.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or care needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and up-to-date documentation of care and services provided.
• Uphold HIPAA standards by safeguarding client privacy and confidentiality at all times.

##### Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, personal care assistance, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Ability to plan and prepare healthy meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Knowledge of medication reminders, basic healthcare protocols, and client safety practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide compassionate, client-centered care.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance and quality care.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans, agency policies, and documentation requirements.
• Flexibility to accept additional hours as client needs increase is preferred.
