Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to assist clients with daily routines and personal care at home. You will follow care plans, communicate changes, and help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility; use safe manual handling and patient transfer methods, including a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and support care plans, medication administration, and vital signs within your training and authorized duties.
• Provide respectful direct support for seniors and people with disabilities, including individuals with autism, developmental or intellectual disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Your impact: Attentive personal care and observation help clients feel safe and supported while giving families greater peace of mind.

Experience

• Caregiving, patient care, personal care assistance, client communication, and assisting with ADLs are relevant; home care, home health, home and community care, group home, assisted living, nursing home, long-term care, hospice, or senior care experience is valued.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, memory, dementia, or geriatric care is helpful, as is experience with patient observation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), residents’ rights, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
