Serenity Care at Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide one-on-one care for a gentleman in Danbury, CT. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping seniors maintain their independence while providing exceptional care in the comfort of their home.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Consistent weekly hours
• Opportunity for additional shifts with other clients

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing/showering and grooming
• Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, tidying up)
• Meal planning and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and running errands
• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
• Medication reminders
• Provide companionship and engaging conversation
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Complete caregiver documentation and follow the client’s care plan

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PCA, CNA, or home care experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (required)
• Comfortable transporting client for errands and grocery shopping
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and punctual
• Excellent communication skills
