Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Ensure clients take medications on time (reminders only, as applicable)
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions
• Support clients with prescribed physical therapy exercises (if applicable)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
• Respond appropriately and promptly in emergency situations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or personal care assistant preferred
• Knowledge of basic health and safety practices
• Ability to perform housekeeping and meal preparation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Well-organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
