Private Caregiver 7pm- 7am Full Time

The In-Home Caregiver provides non-medical personal assistance and supportive care to clients in their homes or place of residence. This role focuses on promoting client safety, comfort, dignity, and independence while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including

Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene

Dressing and toileting

Mobility, transfers, and ambulation

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

Provide medication reminders (no administration)

Observe and report changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Follow individualized care plans and instructions

Accurately document services provided, as required

Qualifications

Previous caregiving experience preferred (home care, hospice, or facility-based care)

Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Ability to pass required background checks (criminal history, NAR, EMR, OIG)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and follow directions

Physical Requirements

Ability to assist with transfers and mobility support

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 pounds as needed

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical caregiving tasks

Expectations

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Arrive on time and complete assigned shifts reliably

Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes or concerns

Adhere to all company policies and procedures
