Position Summary

We're seeking compassionate, reliable PRN Caregivers to join our on-call care team in the greater Houston area. This role fills shifts when regular caregiving staff are unavailable, helping ensure our clients never experience a gap in the attentive, high-quality care they trust us to provide. PRN Caregivers must be adaptable, dependable on short notice, and committed to delivering warm, personalized care.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living

- Support safe mobility, including transfers to/from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs

- Prepare and serve meals according to each client's dietary needs and preferences

- Perform light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, organizing) to maintain a safe home

- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful, socially enriching activities

- Observe and promptly report changes in a client's physical or mental condition

- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided

- Depending on the client, may assist with more complex medical needs (e.g., mobility limitations, cognitive decline, chronic conditions) in accordance with the client's care plan and any additional training or supervision provided

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and the care team

- Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist with mobility
