Duties

• Provide patient personal care assistance, including help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, assessing patient condition, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met.
• Document patient observations accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility protocols.
• Provide emotional support and companionship during overnight shifts or weekends to promote residents’ mental well-being.

Skills

• Proven experience working with elderly in a caregiving role.
• Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and resident’s rights to ensure respectful treatment.
• Ability to perform patient monitoring, document appropriately, and assist client as needed throughout the shift.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to document accurately while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA standards.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
