About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a live-in caregiver supporting a 22-year-old young adult with special needs.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact outside of a traditional school or agency setting. You’ll help support independence, daily living skills, and community involvement — all within a structured, supportive home environment.

This position includes private housing (a 1,200 sq. ft. apartment) and a six-day work week with flexibility for personal downtime during the day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support for a young adult with developmental challenges.
  • Implement and monitor a customized care and behavioral support plan.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, light housekeeping, and meal prep.
  • Encourage participation in community and recreational activities.
  • Track progress and report behavioral or health updates.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support in a safe, positive environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
  • Exceptional respect for privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized living environment
  • Strong personal boundaries and professional judgment
  • Emotional maturity and reliability in a live-in setting
  • Compassion, patience, and dedication to working with individuals with special needs.
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Experience in special needs care or ABA therapy.
  • Professional references and background check required.

Preferred

  • RBT or BCBA certification.
  • Education or experience in psychology, special education, or related field.

Compensation & Benefits
