QMAP/Caregiver

We are looking for a QMAP/Caregiver for our Centennial locations! We have multiple shifts and days available. We have both memory care and and assisted living positions available!

We are looking for amazing people to build this team and work with our seniors. You will be trained through a 3 day immersive training at our Homestead Location followed by a 90 day comprehensive support system till you are confident and comfortable!

As the QMAP/Caregiver you are responsible for helping seniors with all ADL's. Additionally, the Care Partner supports the community with cleaning and laundry, serving meals and activities. Someone get for this position will be available for seniors to play a short card game, provide a snack or just reminisce about the good days.

Schedule: 12 hour shifts, Morning and evening

Job Description

• Administer medications correctly and on time
• Audit MAR before leaving your shift and audit MAR for QMAP leaving. This includes documentation for scheduled meds, documentation for PRN meds and follow-up documentation for PRN meds. If there is any missing documentation discovered from a QMAP who has left, notify them immediately to return and correct. Notify manager on call.
• Audit individual narcotic count sheets.
• Use correct procedure for narcotic count. Both QMAPs witness entire process and packaging checked for tampering. Both QMAPs document that they verified. ALL narcotics are to be counted until destroyed by assigned managers.
• Follow 7 rights and remember that none are more important than the other. Right time, resident, reason, medication, dose, route, documentation. Note: medications that are scheduled with an exact time must be administered within the 1 hour...
