JPosition Summary Midnight shift 10pm-6am

The Resident Assistant (RA) supports community members in Independent Living and Assisted Living by providing assistance with daily activities, safety oversight, and hospitality services. This role promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring a safe, supportive community environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respectful assistance to community members in accordance with individual service plans
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as applicable (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers)
• Provide medication reminders and/or assistance in accordance with state regulations and company policy
• Conduct routine safety checks and wellness rounds
• Respond promptly to call lights and community member requests
• Observe, document, and report changes in condition or behavior
• Support social activities, programs, and community events
• Assist with dining services, hydration, and hospitality needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with leadership
• Follow all emergency, safety, and infection control procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold community standards at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in Independent Living or Assisted Living preferred
• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist throughout shift
• Ability to lift or assist up to 50 lbs using proper technique
