Seeking Part Time CNA or PCA in Pelham, GA

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA or PCA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality Pediatric patient care in home setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, emergency medicine, and the ability to work effectively with pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide support to nursing staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort by addressing their needs promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
• Document patient care activities in electronic health record systems such as caryfy.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills in emergency medicine and patient care techniques.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• A background in caring for children will enhance your ability to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
