Senior Caregiver (CNA/HHA) - Male Client | Part-Time/Full-Time | Manhattan | $30/Hour

CompassCare is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver

to provide one-on-one care for a wonderful male client in Manhattan.

The client has specifically requested a male caregiver

to assist with his personal care and daily needs. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience caring for clients living with dementia, and dementia care training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Our caregivers work in partnership with the Compass Care Client Team and Office Staff to provide the highest level of care and service.

• Provide concierge-level care, companionship, and engagement.
• Assist with enrichment activities, outings, and social events.
• Accompany the client to appointments when needed.
• Assist with personal care.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Follow the individualized care plan.
• Complete daily reporting and communicate with the Care Team.
• Provide care for a male client living with dementia.
• Be comfortable working in a home with dogs.
• Work collaboratively with family members in the home.
