Amada Senior Care is currently hiring warm-hearted, compassionate, patient, and professional caregivers who enjoy working with and assisting seniors. We are hiring in Denver and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, toileting and eating
• Help clients by reminding them of prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside by running errands (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with reminding patients of physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties/light housekeeping
• Laundry
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• If you are looking for a company who provides you with flexible schedules for a week and or part-time if you desire. These can be 4/hr, 8/hr, or 12-hour shifts Days/ or Nights Monday - Friday and/or Weekends.
• Must have open availability.

**Applicants must have professional experience working as an experienced Caregiver in clients/patients homes and/or senior facilities as well as have experience with chronically ill and Hospice.

Candidates considered meet the following qualifications

*Minimum of two years' experience as a caregiver in patients homes one on one and/or in Senior Living Facilities

* Must be compassionate, patient, and reliable/dependable

*Must have a High School Diploma or GED (some college a plus)

*Experience and training working with Dementia/Memory Care patients

*Must be able to pass a national criminal background check

*Must have a good driving record

*Must be eligible to work in the US.

*Must be 18 years of age or older

*Open Availability to work 12's , 8's ,4’s all shifts either Monday - Friday or Weekends

*Must have a reliable car, valid Colorado Driver's License and proof of current auto insurance

*2 professional references

* Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as detailed-oriented

* If you have worked in a senior retirement, assisted living or nursing facility's well as clients homes
