Are you dependable, enjoy driving, and like helping others stay active and independent? We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Transportation Assistant to provide transportation and errand assistance for an adult client and her adult son.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a growing home care agency. There is potential to transition into a permanent caregiver position, which includes an increase in hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to appointments, shopping, and errands.
• Run errands on behalf of the clients when requested.
• Transport clients to community outings and events, as desired.
• Wait at the location while clients complete errands, appointments, or activities. (You are not required to accompany clients inside unless specifically requested.)
• Provide friendly, professional, and reliable service.
• Communicate any scheduling concerns or delays with the office promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dependable vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Current automobile insurance
• Willingness to travel throughout Indianapolis and surrounding cities as needed
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, caregiving, customer service, or a related field
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
• Ability to pass any required background screenings
