Weekend Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors. This role involves supporting elderly individuals with daily activities to promote their well-being, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and committed to delivering respectful and personalized care in a home setting.

Duties

• Assist seniors with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring as needed.
• Support transportation to appointments or errands if required.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for seniors at all times.
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members or healthcare professionals regarding the senior’s needs.

Experience

• Previous experience caring for seniors or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with assisting mobility and personal care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while following instructions.
• Reliable, patient, and respectful attitude towards elderly individuals.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
