Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and dependable PCA or CNA to provide dedicated one-on-one support for a pediatric client. This is a part-time role with 14 hours per week Tuesday thru Friday in the daytime. The ideal candidate should have a desire to want to work with children.

Duties

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, some hygiene.
• Assist with mobility needs such as transfers/ambulation and positioning to maintain comfort and safety.
• Observe and report any changes in the child’s physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or family.
• Follow the care plan while working closely with the family and supervising nurse.
• Maintain detailed documentation and notes.
• Provide a comfortable environment for the child.

Requirements

• Active Georgia certification or completion of an approved training program.
• At least 6 months of experience in home care, pediatrics preferred but not required.
• Should have CPR and First Aid certification, current.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Enjoy working with children, with a dependable personality .
