2nd Shift Caregiver 2-10pm

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, memory care, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting residents' well-being, independence, and comfort through personalized care and attentive support. Shift

2pm-10pm and every other weekend

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
• Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
• Document care provided accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Support behavioral management strategies for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments
• Assist with transportation or driving when necessary for appointments or community outings
• Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans

Skills

• Previous experience in long-term care, home & community care, or assisted living environments preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and resident-centered approaches
