Job Description

Chesaning Nursing & Rehab Center is a 39-bed skilled nursing facility seeking Full Time and Part Time - 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

We are looking for dependable and compassionate CNA's that are committed to consistent resident care. This is a small community where staff are able to build meaningful relationships with residents and coworkers. Attendance and dependability are essential, as our residents rely on familiar caregivers.

Position Details

• Shift: 2ndShift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
• Schedule: Rotating 4-week schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Small 39-bed skilled nursing / long-term care facility

Applicants should be prepared for the expectations of a skilled nursing facility CNA role, including consistent teamwork, communication, and resident-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Michigan)
• Ability to reliably work assigned schedule including every other weekend
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Updated resume required for consideration
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (new CNAs welcome)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition
• Provide compassionate, dignified, resident-centered care
• Accurately document care provided
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and the care team

Pay: $16.25 - $19.90 per hour
