Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of two years of prior experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
  • Active ARF administrator certification.
  • First aid & CPR, CPI trained, renew annually hands on and in-person training.
  • Administrator must complete the resident service orientation as required.
  • Complete a minimum of 16 emergency intervention-training hours annually.
  • Background clearance and maintain fingerprint clearance the entire time of employment.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Must be available to work after hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • DSP year 1 and 2 (preferred)
  • Active RBT, or licensed psychiatric technician, or a qualified behavior modification professional (preferred)

Duties

  • The administrator will be responsible for coordinating the development and updates of IBSP.
  • The administrator will complete monthly facility reports for each individual.
  • Coordinate the monthly IBSP meeting.
  • The administrator will manage staffing hours to ensure that ratio is maintained.
  • The administrator will supervise staffing care of individuals.
  • The administrator will train staff on the program design and adherence to the program.
  • The administrator will monitor the documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • The administrator will meet with the individuals to ensure person-centered planning.
  • The administrator will oversee the budget for the facility.
  • The administrator will interview and hire qualified staff.
  • The administrator will fire and discipline staff when necessary.
  • The administrator will oversee the staff to ensure that regulations, policies, and procedures are followed.
  • The administrator will coordinate with the QBMP on training for staff.
  • The administrator will coordinate with the QBMP on monitoring the staff's RBTCEUs and training.
