AFC Home Caregiver in Lansing

Open Arms Link is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to support individuals in our residential homes.

### Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living needs, including hygiene, mobility, medication assistance, meals, and housekeeping
• Support residents with community outings, social activities, and medical appointments
• Transport residents to approved activities and appointments (use of personal vehicle may be required)
• Administer medications and treatments as trained and document appropriately
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate resident needs and concerns with supervisors and clinical staff
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings

### Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age; 16 with permissions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Capable of responding to emergencies
• Provide at least 3 references (at least 2 professional)
• Must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete training (online and CMH)

### Preferred Experience

• Caregiver, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Direct Care Worker
• Assisted Living, In‑Home Care, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Nursing Home experience
