Bilingual Spanish Caregiver/ CNA

Job Summary

As a Bilingual Spanish Caregiver/CNA, you’ll provide respectful, person-centered care and communicate with clients and families in Spanish and English. Support people in home, community, group home, assisted living, and long-term care settings, adapting care to individual needs and established care plans. Your impact: Attentive care and clear communication help clients feel safe, respected, and supported in daily life.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility and transfers
• Observe and monitor clients, take vital signs as assigned, document changes, and follow care plans, resident’s rights, HIPAA privacy requirements, and escalation procedures.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and assist with personal transportation as assigned.
• Provide compassionate support in senior care, geriatrics, hospice, home health, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory care settings, including for people with autism, developmental, intellectual, neurodevelopmental, or other disabilities.

Skills

• Required: Spanish-English communication, caregiving, patient care, patient observation, monitoring, personal care assistance, client communication, and safe patient transfer methods.
• Helpful experience includes dementia or Alzheimer’s care, memory care, direct support, intellectual disabilities support, and working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other disabilities.
• Knowledge of care plans, HIPAA, medication administration, vital signs, first aid and CPR, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and transportation assistance is valuable.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
