The Cancer Center Day Hospital within Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital is a great team to work with! This role offers a high level of autonomy while being part of a collaborative and supportive team. The positions works between the Cancer Center Lab and Cancer Center Infusion, with responsibilities including blood draws, accessing central lines, placing peripheral IV’s (PIV’s), obtaining vital signs, and rooming patients.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, motivated, and able tow ork both independently and as part of a team. In the Cancer Center, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout their treatment journey. Monday 7:30am-1:30pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 7:30am-12:30pm, every other Thursday OFF, every other Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am

Job Summary

The Cancer Center I Technician is an essential member of the patient-centered cancer healthcare team. This individual, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurses provides delegated age appropriate care in a culturally and ethnically sensitive manner. Contributes to patient care by assisting with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment related to vital signs, performing blood draws, maintaining the environment of care, managing supply inventory, and/or assisting providers and other members of the Cancer Center interdisciplinary care team to enhance the patient care experience.
