Care giver for an assisted living

Overview

As a Caregiver in an assisted living setting, you’ll provide attentive, respectful support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. You’ll assist with daily routines, communicate changes in residents’ needs, and contribute to a safe, welcoming home. Your impact: By providing consistent personal care and clear communication, you help residents feel supported and keep families and care teams informed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and light meal preparation.
• Support medication administration as directed.
• Use safe patient lifting techniques.
• Maintain clean living areas, respect residents’ rights, and provide direct support during activities

Requirements

• Caregiving experience is essential; assisted living experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in senior care, geriatrics, nursing homes, long-term care, retirement or residential care homes, personal care homes, group homes, home care, or home and community care is valued.
• Experience supporting people with memory-care needs is beneficial.
• Knowledge of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is preferred; follow applicable care and safety procedures.
• Clear client communication, reliability, and respect for privacy and resident choice are important.
• Ability to assist with mobility and physical care is required
• This position is for night shift 8pm to 8am

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
